I ordered some groceries from Meijer and the doordasher did not properly enter my substitute in the system for my hamburger patties. I ordered a 8 count of patties and received a 4 count which is not only 1/2 the quantity I ordered but 1/2 the price. I reached out to customer service and they said they cannot give me my money back. I sent photos and talked to several representatives and took photos of the conversation, the products, and my order as proof to escalate this matter as far as I can. I was using my foodstamp benefits for this so every penny counts and they are keeping the price difference between what I ordered and what I was substituted, stealing from me.
Horrible. They treat the drivers like crap and you make absolutely nothing doing it. Run šāāļø from this place.
Iām a Dasher who always delivers on time and takes care with every order. But DoorDash allows customers to remove tips after the deliveryāwith no protection for drivers. Even when I do everything right, Iāve had tips disappear, leaving me with $2ā$3 in base pay. Thatās below minimum wage after gas and time.DoorDash offers no adjustment or support. We Dashers deserve betterāprotect our tips or raise base pay. Right now, the system rewards dishonest customers and punishes hard-working drivers. Itās not sustainable or fair.
Lived here 25 years. First time a delivery driver has got lost finding the place. Can't speak English so impossible to give directions too. Turns out he was over 4 km away, even with a GPS. Never again. Food finally arrived 1:40 after ordering. Cold.
They suck with a capital F in the front. Ordering food through their service will not only be a waste of time. But eventually they'll rip you off. How is it they can provide a pickup time without the restaurant actually confirming the order? And then put you through hoops obtaining a refund?I will never, ever, Use their service to order food from again.
Scary DoorDash delivery experience and no help from customer service. Had bottle of wine delivered & delivery person couldnāt scan my drivers license. He didnāt take a picture or enter the info into the app. He pounded on my door 5 minutes later and demanded order back. My license is current & valid. Never had a problem like this before, if it couldnāt be scanned. He didnāt take a picture of license. I also had my passport available. Driver was very aggressive and Iām a female who lives alone-scary! I was charged the full amount and DoorDash would not refund, due to their āalcohol delivery policyā. I did nothing wrong & the driver failed me. They didnāt care, citing policy. Escalated to a supervisor who didnāt help & told I would receive an email follow up, which just took me back to original order. Customer service with GrubHub is stellar with 1st call resolution!!
DoorDash charged my checking account $49.13 and never deliver the food. I looked at the "PROOF" of Delivery photo and grabbed my cane and hobbled to every apartment in Camellia Court and found no bags anywhere! I then went back to my apartment and took another look at the picture showing two bags sitting on top of a blue Rubbermaid Style tub with lid and an empty large plant pot right next to the bags and remembered seeing a large tub when I made my rounds. I went back to the apartment AT THE VERY FRONT OF THE COMPLEX NEAREST THE MAIN OFFICE and saw the exact same tub and empty plant pot and knocked on the door. No answer! I could see the TV was on through the closed blinds and knocked again with still no answer. I pounded on the door for almost a minute before the resident opened the door and I told him about the food that had been set on his storage tub according to the proof of delivery photo I received. He said I don't have your food because she came back and got it. (I believed him because my online order stated my delivery driver's name was Clara). The food was delivered to Camellia Court Apartments D-1 and not to H-3! I then rushed back to my apartment AT THE FAR BACK OF THE COMPLEX and still no food! She came back and picked up the food and totally left the apartment complex never to return and still didn't even attempt to deliver it to H-3! I heard my phone ringing but missed the call as I entered my apartment and returned the call to find out it was DoorDash Customer Service and am informed that a credit of $36.80 was added to my Door Dash account for the undelivered China King order and when I complain that that doesn't address the $2 tip I added for that order I'm told that an additional $10 was added to the corrected total for a total credit on my DoorDash account of $48.80. When I check my Door Dash account during a "test" checkout so I can see the credit it only says $43.55! When I complain he tells me to refresh my screen and check it again because "it says $48.80 on his end". I refresh my screen and it still says $43.55. He tells me to log out and log back in and check it again. Still no change. Then he tells me to uninstall and reinstall the app and check it again. I told him I wasn't using my phone; that I was logged into their website using my desktop computer. Then he blames my internet connection. Then he tells me to take a screenshot and attach it to the reply to the email he just sent. I check my Outlook Inbox Folder and find no such email and also check my Junk Email Folder still find nothing from him and inform him that I've received no email from him. He instructs me to check my Spam Folder and I tell him I already did. I ask him to send it again and he just keeps insisting that he already sent it - THEN HE STARTS BLAMING MY EMAIL APPLICATION! After about five more minutes of arguing with him, I hung up on him. Then he calls back and says we got disconnected or the call dropped. I told him the call didn't drop - I hung up on you. and if you call me back again, I'm going to block your number, (and I hung up on him again). And of course he called back immediately to give me a piece of his mind. So I declined and blocked the number!Then I check my Door Dash account today to see if anything was corrected and I stumble on a posting by DoorDash on the Dairy Queen Medium Blizzard I added to my order as a Double Dash at no extra delivery charge and it says I declined the refund! I WAS NEVER OFFERED A REFUND FOR THE UNDELIVERED BLIZZARD! The only refund I was told I got was for the undelivered China King order!And TODAY ALONE, (29 June 2025) I call DoorDash Customer Support and end up on hold for about 5 minutes before the first agent answers, then after less than a minute; he doesn't want to deal with the issue and I'm placed back on hold for a few more minutes while my call is transferred to another agent, then placed back on hold for another transfer and a few minutes later am placed on hold for a third time and end up on hold for more than an hour before the FOURTH Customer NO-SERVICE agent picks up my call.So to put it briefly:Door Dash Charged my checking account TWICE!1) $38.80 TOTAL for my China King food order of $36.80 plus a CUSTOM TIP of $2 because I'm on a disability income and can't afford preselected TIP AMOUNTS OF $6.75!2) $10.33 TOTAL for my Dairy Queen Medium Heath Bar Blizzard plus a CUSTOM TIP of $1 because I can't afford the HIGHWAY ROBBERY PRESELECTED TIPS BASED ON THE FOOD COST and not based on the DELIVERY FEE!The SIMPLE math:They charge my checking account a total of $49.13 and say a $48.80 credit was applied to my DoorDash account but only $43.55 ever gets applied when I do a "test" checkout without submitting. I'm a stroke survivor and don't need the stress! I disputed the charges with my bank and am keeping all my documentation and waiting for a Class Action Lawsuit!DD - Go F Yourself! LOL - You already did!
DoorDash is an incompetent unreliable company. You put up prices thatās different from pick up vs delivery. Itās a rip off then when you order from a restaurant called Bag O Crab it says that the octopus comes with potatoes and corn. I got neither. I call the restaurant they said oh itās not suppose to be up there. I paid my hard earned money for something I expected to get and not get cheated. Wtf DoorDash..
First time using Door Dash. Paid for coffee and food for my family. The driver only brought the coffee (no food). At first, I thought it was a mistake by the restaurant but I called and spoke with someone there who confirmed the food was staged with the coffee. Not only that, but when they noticed the driver didnāt grab the food, they attempted to call but got no answer. I submitted a report to Door Dash asking to get a refund for the items I didnāt receive. They denied it 2x. Will not use Door Dash again. Deleting app as well. What a disappointment
DoorDash are thieves and the customer service is horrible. Todayās dasher couldnāt read door numbers so I had to walk a couple of blocks to find him and get my order which was now cold. Another time I was waiting in my living room for my grocery order which had alcohol. It wasnāt delivered. When questioned, the idiot told me he didnāt leave it because of the alcohol. I was sitting right next to the door the whole time. When asked where my $89 worth of groceries were, he told me he threw them in the trash. When asked where the trash was so I could retrieve them, he hung up. Then they had the nerve to charge me another $25 for a restocking fee for the alcohol and refused to return the tip. All in all they ripped me off of for &120
Ready and one is even too high I placed an order with doordash a couple nights ago the driver could not find my apartment and the whole order was completely wrong when I contacted doordash Davis used to give me a refund because the order was delivered even though it wasn't my order they told me there is nothing that they can do that I am out $18.31 for food that I couldn't eat and was not what I ordered now what kind of company is that I would not recommend doordash to anybody

Iām in Georgia and weāre having a REALLY bad lightening storm and I went outside LOOKING for her just so I can get my stuff! She needs to be BANNED from dashing! Why lie? Most importantly STEAL my order! Iām a very long customer of DoorDash and after this Iām unstalling the app and Iām NEVER ordering anything through them again! Alicia S. needs to be banned from dashing!
The door dash agent cancelled my order and didnt tell me i wouldnt get a refund. Now im out of 34.05 and didnt get any food

3 of my last 8 orders have been tampered with. Last night I ordered 5 guys, and the driver ripped the top of the bag and ate fries. I confronted him about this and he admitted it, and seemed proud of it. A few nights ago I ordered Subway Chicken Dorito Nachos, and when I got it the sticker was removed and mostly all of the chicken was eaten from the nachos. A week before that I ordered pizza from Pizza My Heart, and about half of the. toppings were eaten from the pizza. When you report, they make you feel guilty by saying "We see you've been having a lot of trouble with your orders." YA! If your drivers would stop eating my food, there would be no problems!!!! I am using them once more for the credit I got, and switching to a competitor. I am so sick of this. This is absolutely RIDICULOUS!

1 star because there isn't a negative scorxing system or it would be -100 stars.They delivered $350 worth of food to the gate in front of the pool of our condo's instead of my front door ..All the Dairy/Frozen and Meats were left out in the 102 degree weather for 45 minutes..What a horrible experience..
I ordered my dinner for me....I received stuff for 2 more folks....I called ........and wanted a refund....they wouldnt do it....Right now I wont use them again.
Pema G is the rudest dasher I have ever had. Hope they lose their job. Absolutely disgusting person, all I asked was a question and they were so rude. Pema G will sit in the car park for a very long time to purposely run up the clock, her performance should be reviewed given this fraudulent behaviour.
Awful. They left my groceries on the path out front of number 6. The address is clearly 14. Literally 200 dollars worth of groceries across the path. Why on Earth does anyone get groceries delivered when this is what you can expect. Never again
Why, why, why can't they hire English speaking/understanding drivers???! My meds now come through Door Dash and because the driver couldn't understand me, I almost didn't get them. I may switch pharmacies. Can't mess around.
