Just absolutely horrible. No words, can't even comprehend how horrible the service is, they should be ashamed of themselves.
I have heard from so many drivers that this company is cheating them on their pay! Many driver said is not worth working for this company! And I believe that!
Priority/Express Fee ($1.99–$3.99): When you pay for priority, the order is supposed to be sent directly to you without being stacked with other orders. However, Dashers report that they do not see any special tag, notification, or message indicating the order is a "Priority" order. I found out hard way but never again. It may only be $3.99. Lost. But When you expect something listed and don’t receive then it’s a problem.
1 star.DoorDash randomly charged me $96 for DashPass while I was actively trying to save money, and it honestly crushed me. I work hard for my money. I do not throw it away casually, and I was trying to build toward things I actually wanted and planned for. Seeing nearly $100 suddenly taken from me felt violating, stressful, and deeply discouraging.Yes, I was told I would be refunded, and yes, the money came back. But the damage was already done. A refund does not erase the panic of seeing your hard-earned money disappear. It does not erase the anger, the stress, or the horrible feeling of realizing that all your effort to save can be disrupted by some random charge you never wanted. That is the message this experience sent loud and clear: work hard, save carefully, make plans, and still be forced to deal with financial chaos because a giant company cannot be trusted to leave your money alone. That is not convenience. That is not acceptable. That destroys trust.I am deleting my DoorDash account after this. Absolutely disgusting experience.
Every time an order is delivered, it is either half missing or not delivered at all. It says it is,but it never arrives. In the Giddings, Tx area, the food is almost always stolen or not my order at all. Then you have to go through all this red tape to get a refund. They shouldn't get payed until the order is delivered correctly! It's not worth the trouble to use door dash!!
They deactivated my account I won my appeal was there fault have reactivated status yet they still won't let me deliver. Corruption. Use Uber eats or GrubHub
Ordered goat curry from a local restaurant through door dash. I’ve gotten this dish before numerous times and it has always been delicious. This time around I opened it and it smelled sour but i thought nothing of it . Ate it and it did taste kind of off. Two hours later I was asleep and woke up to throwing up for a good 30 minutes. Complained to door dash and they rejected my complaint due to purchase history? Called the restaurant directly and was given store credit so therefore I will not name the restaurant. Thanks door dash was very deleted your app. I spend $1000s+ a year on ordering I’ll do Uber Eats from now on . SCAM!
Left in the wrong building clearly did not use the intercom. Australia.
The this exoects us to deliver 30 miles one way for $5.00 you must be joking . They don’t want to pay their employees. Unfair . Then customers leave crappy tips . They are be waited on and catered to but don’t want to pay for the convenience. If you don’t want to tip then you won’t get no delivery from me . Go get it yourself . It’s all the time daily basis . No tipping you know who you are
This is one of the most useless, dishonest delivery services I have ever dealt with. The delivery window notifications are complete bullshit. They send updates pretending your order is on the way when the driver is nowhere near the store, so from the start there is no realistic chance it will arrive within the promised time. Then you sit there waiting while the driver runs a bunch of other deliveries first and your order shows up hours late. Not minutes—hours. Repeatedly. What makes it even more insulting is the expectation of a tip after providing service this bad. If a company cannot manage basic honesty about timing and cannot get an order delivered anywhere close to the window it promised, then neither the service nor the tip expectation is deserved. This whole operation is a joke.
They stole money from me. I go get gas with what’s on my card say I have $20.00 on my door dash card the gas pump stops at $20.00. I go to the same gas pump every time. It went over $18.00 I had in my account to $60.00 I’m thinking there’s a glitch in the gas station pump I say something to the worker…nothing happens they say can’t do anything about that. Then I have negative $60.00 in my door dash account. They stole money from me, and I called 9 times to submit a claim and they said cause I used the gas that they couldn’t give me the money back. Now I can’t door dash at all. Boo door dash is sketchy company to work for they steal money off your card. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Use uber eats or something else.
Doordash in Corpus Christi is GARBAGE. Most, not all drivers here are trash, they don't follow instructions, they don't handle the food with care, nor do they make sure that all of your order is there. Corpus has cats and dogs running ramped here and for a Dasher to blatantly disregard the "hand it to me request" and leave it on your porch for the animals to get is ridiculous. And when you report this to Doordash, they come back with a $5 credit towards your next order when you just had $40 to $50 of food ruined. To the drivers that are decent in the area, thank you for all you do and the care you show your customers. Those drivers need to be rewarded a lot better, and definitely get extra tips from me. The trash ones should be revoked their tips and made to pay for the bad service and food that is ruined.
I don't think it's fair dashers can add other orders to be picked up. My order was picked up but he made 3 additional stops for other orders n my food is wat sitting in a car while these pick ups are being made...n we all k no ow they don't make the hot bags mandatory.
Ordered a.pizza paid cash $46.50, april 2nd.Charged by door dash april 6 for $46.50.explained to them april 10 I was charged on top of the cash paid.sent them a screenshot, were sorry you ran out of alotted time for a refund, after they said it was under review yesterday and they would get back to.me!.This is 1 of the biggest bs scams out there,no more business from this guy!!??
This is the 3rd time and last. By the time I got my food it was ice cold.None of the drivers speak English so giving directions when they get lost is impossible. They obviously can't use GPS either. How do the drivers have a drivers license since it's a federal requirement to speak and read English to have a drivers license.

Extremely disappointed with DoorDash’s Outdated ID policy—Avoid if you use Digital ID
Extremely disappointed with DoorDash’s refusal to accept a valid government Digital ID for an age-restricted order. I am a 45-year-old adult with grey hair, yet the Driver+Support refused to recognise a legal form of identification provided by the government. In an era where digital wallets are the standard. My wallet was stolen and don't currently have physical card, they offer zero compromise. DoorDash is lagging behind and causing unnecessary delivery failures. I have deleted my account. Digital drivers licence is legal ID standard, prefered by police. Fix your policy.
It changed my default address to my work address. I added it weeks ago just in case I ever wanted food brought there and never used it once. Until today because it changed my default to where I work. Which is past the restaurant I ordered the food from. So, I had to drive further out just to get my food. I'd give them a zero if possible. The dasher was super nice and obviously WILDLY confused because who would order food to their work when they are HOME? Not her fault, though.
They need to quit taking low orders. The orders need to be way more than miles because gas is getting way too expensive. Nothing should be less than $5. Plus they do not need to have acceptance as our rating because that has nothing to do with taking care of the customers it should be on timing and care of orders. We should not be expected to take orders that cant even pay for a mile of gas. And don’t send orders to the same person twice. There is a reason for that because the cost doesn’t cover gas. It’s too expensive now of days.
I can't believe this!My wife ordered for a Doodash delivery and the left sat her food on our walkway in the rain, she looked out the door for her food which any sensible person would know to put it in any one of the chairs at the front door Smh
They have horrible customer service. They make mistakes all the time and the customer has to deal with it, but if the customer makes an error, they won’t do anything, and you will lose your money.
I would not even rate this experience one star. I had always considered DoorDash to be a reputable company that values its customers, but my recent experience proved otherwise. My order was delivered to the wrong address, which is clearly evident from the photo uploaded by the Dasher. The house number in the image does not match my address, and the difference is obvious even without a detailed investigation. What’s more disappointing is that the Dasher did not attempt to verify the correct address, and the support team denied my request after their so-called “investigation,” claiming the delivery was correct. This could have been easily resolved by simply verifying the location on Google, as the delivered house and my actual house are visibly different.Overall, this experience reflects a lack of accountability and poor customer service. Very disappointing.
