Offers inappropriate refund credit amounts, then ghosts me
I relied on DoorDash heavily for many years, for my groceries, and meals. Yesterday a dasher broke the seal on a fast food delivery of two meals which cost about $70!DoorDash offered a $5 credit! Shocked, I explained that wasn’t sufficient, then they offered a $10 credit! Then after some more back and forth the agent ghosted me. So here I am, no longer a DoorDash customer.
My order was delivered to a completely different place. I have pictures of my door and the door they dropped the food at, the driver didn’t care and the company wouldn’t give me a refund despite me being able to definitively show that the doors are different. Deleting the app and never using them again. The funny part of this is that this is my send time using the app.

Despite this obvious evidence, DoorDash denied my refund, stating that the order was “delivered.”I then called support and was told the issue was being sent to a “second review” that could take up to 24 hours, even though the mistake is visually undeniable.This is not a complicated situation:The driver delivered to the wrong doorDoorDash accepted the driver’s photo without verificationClear photographic proof from the customer was ignoredThis experience has been extremely frustrating and feels like a basic failure of accountability. Customers should not have to fight this hard when the evidence is this clear.
Doordash is the worst delivery service in all of history The DoorDash driver supposedly delivered my stuff but did not even put it near my door so when I go outside to look it's nowhere to be found and DoorDash does nothing about it so they got to keep my money Well I hope they can shove it where the sun don't shine because their customer service is piss poor that's why Uber eats excels way better than them I hope to God one day DoorDash gets shut down
Horrible customer service. Got a gift card and they said it’s not legit, even though it was paid for. Other times a dasher has just sat with my order and it never arrived and never got money back. Awful.
I live 300 metres from Doncaster Fish and Chips i was sick so ordered my partner a grilled battered fish and chips it became a group order and arrived 45 Minutes later Cold soggy fish and chips itDisappointed and very annoyed they wanted pics but it was too late Rubbing had gone out Tired of cold food used to be good now just awful
I had food delivered by DoorDash, and he handed it to me because it was trash in the bag. Food spilled inside the container, and I went above and beyond in tipping. Because of the mishandling of my food by DoorDash, I decided to close my account and will never use the platform again. In my opinion, DoorDash should train drivers to handle people's food with care because not everyone uses common sense.
We ordered a 750ml bottle for a small office party with 10 people. DoorDash delivered a 350ml instead. Half the product. Same charge. No fix.DoorDash’s response? I do have a job but I DoorDash on the side. The last dash I did was December 1 and the next dash was gonna be today I literally set a schedule to dash for today and I was at a platinum level now I’m at a goat level because of they really can’t explain it to me I do not like DoorDash. The only reason I do this is for extra cash, but DoorDash is a scamming company. They scam people and people not even paying attention to it but it’s OK because I’m still gonna go out here and make the money that I need to make for my kids and then I’m going to deactivate my account and no longer work for DoorDash. I am going to go to Uber eats or Postmates they both pay more and they have more consideration for their drivers. I asked the young lady I said well why would it go from platinum to gold soon as I make a schedule to go out in DoorDash but y’all just let me stay platinum for 14 days oh I really can’t explain it to you nobody at DoorDash has the correct answers. I swear everybody went to a different orientation class, but that’s OK. I will not have to use DoorDash after the next two days but I didn’t wanna make this complaint about DoorDash.
Got food poisoning from an order and doordash refusing to refund or credit. Uber eats way better
Doordash over charges the meals/they are almost double what the actual price is. More than half of the time our orders are incorrect. And now, they allow these people to stop at multiple places after picking your order up! By the time they get to you , your food is cold and it took twice as long!
This company has a terrible customer service. The customer service is non existent and representatives reviewing issues lacks training in understand customer's concern.
As a Dasher who has done over 1,000 deliveries I have authority and credibility to say for the most part the customers are good. However, it is DoorDash that is more bad than good.I’ve never had a customer where I felt unsafe. Whereas, DoorDash platform enables a lack of trust. Once had someone try to claim they were Dasher support and tried to obtain my earnings.Often would schedule myself for busy peak time based on their platform alerts only to be waiting for countless minutes wondering why there’s no orders.If the platform is this bad for drivers; I think it safe to say the platform is bad for businesses, too. Once businesses start becoming smart and ditching DoorDash the customers will return to your stores because you won’t need to pay an expensive cost to doing business with a ln inept technology company.
Do not order from here they steal money off your card without a trace on there I only caught it due to my cash app stealing is a sin God watches all remember
Horrible service with no accountability. Scam! They say the terns and conditions state that DoorDash is not obligated t o refund even if the order /service is not delivered. Please read terms and conditions and avoid signing up. In my case dasher /delivery person herself messaged that her app isn’t working and order was not pucker up. Still DoorDash refused to do anything about it. I lost close ton$60 in this order
verify payment system is the worst. I deleted my account after the system fails every time, trying with multiple cards. Can't delete a payment after it is used. useless, lost all future business.
I placed a order with door dash today and at 2 pm and asked it be delivered by 5 pm and when 5 pm.came around. They still had not found a door dasher to fill and deliver my order.I used food stamps and they charged me the same amount on my debit card. available after $57.57 purchase at DD *DOORDASH ALDI SAN FRANCISCO CA US on 12/12 04:47PM CT with your Netspend card ending. Yesterday I had a driver who I think intentionally was trying not to deliver my order. I took two screen recordings of the driver “missing” my street. When I reached out to the driver asking if they needed to be navigated by me, miraculously they “found” my street. They then proceeded to deliver it to the wrong house and DOORDASH is refusing to refund me even with SUFFICED evidence and a support agent via chat admitting the delivery was sent to the wrong place. HORRIBLE SERVICE.
