First time ordering and it was a total disaster. Even after speaking to the driver, who said he was right here, I never got my order. Their customer service is the absolute worst with a seeming inability to either issue a credit or a refund. First and last time. Door Dash sucks

I ordered doordash to dws shoe store…

I ordered doordash to dws shoe store for a pair of crocs for my 10 yr old son. After 5 different people and watching the app continuously say waiting for washer then washer is shopping all the way to dash has completed shopping to nothing. I asked for live agent was seeming to get somewhere live agent said they were going to call the washer 5 people in to this stated stay connected then chat dropped said reconnect to live agent then I checked my order getting frustrated at this point with my 10 yr old crying because he was depending on his crocs for school tomorrow morning with his new outfit. Needless to say my order was canceled after waiting almost 3.5 hrs just to find out that he would not get them at all. Now I have to wait for 68.99 to be given back so I can spend more time tomorrow trying to get these for my son. Not to mention I just got him calmed down so I can get some sleep before I have to get up and work in the morning at 6 am. Never been so disappointed in my life . What is wrong with you people mess with me but not with my fragile child NEVER AGAIN.

Unreliable service, no real support

We had missing items in our order — the restaurant’s fault — but DoorDash made things worse. After reporting the issue, we got a message saying our account was “ineligible for a refund.” We spent an hour trying to reach a live agent instead of enjoying our dinner.It seems because our last few orders also had issues (missing food or entire orders), DoorDash decided to stop refunding us — even though those mistakes were theirs. While they eventually credited our account, it’s hard to trust a delivery service where you risk losing both food and money. Once our credit is used, we’ll look elsewhere.

Doordash continues to charge my family members card that used it one time. I've canceled over and over, yet they continue to charge that card for monthly service. Now they've charged $49.90 for Chong Qing. None of us have any idea who that is and doordash takes zero responsibility. Doordash is a scam. They refuse to cancel service every single month. I go thru this every month. Now we're being charged from Chong Qing THRU DOORDASH. Do yourself a favor and never ever sign up with them

Terrible service including customer…

Terrible service including customer service. The delivery drivers have been going to the wrong house probably 80% of the time in spite of my instructions to check the address on my mailbox on the curb which is in big, glow in the dark letters on both sides and can easily be seen from the road. The last driver again went to the wrong house, but this time was very rude and unprofessional and mouthed off to me when I told him to check the instructions. I reported this to customer service 3 times and asked them to correct their navigation system to go to the correct house. I was told a manager would call me back, but they never did. The third time I waited on the phone for 25 minutes while the agent chatted with a manager through instant messaging. Obviously, the manager was available but would not speak to me. I was told I would get a call within 24 hours, the same as I was told over 2 weeks ago. I never got the call, so I requested to delete my account and was told I can't delete it but can only deactivate it. So my account is now deactivated.

The cancel subscription in the app doesn’t work. All the other options work except that one. I had to dispute a previous order just to get put through to AI support and have it canceled. Wouldn’t be surprised if they tried to charge me for it. Scummy

Literally every time I order something…

Literally every time I order something there is something missing this is supposed to be convenient and we damn sure pay enough for it to be convenient, when in the end, it is a bunch of BS that we have to deal with every time for paying extra money so it’s pretty much like we pay extra money for shit to be wrong, the problem is you got people working the job that are too freaking lazy to do a real job. They’re too damn lazy to even check to see if your order is right. Absolutely ridiculous. This is a dying service as well. It should.

I contacted DoorDash minutes after receiving my order with a missing item. I was told (and screenshotted the conversation) that I would be getting a refund within 7 days. I patiently waited but no refund came. I contacted DoorDash again only to be told that I had to report my missing items sooner after delivery and that now it was against their policy to refund. So they say they will send you a refund but sure do not, and even with proof of conversations etc, they just say nope not in our policy. Never will I use DoorDash again.

Bring Scammed No More

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH DOORDASH due to them doubling the cost of things ordered, to the extreme added fees, to DoorDash not sending the order correctly to the businesses, and of course all the complaints the businesses and drivers get because DoorDash doesn't follow there own policies to submitting orders and we the customers believe it's the businesses and driver fault the are wrong. There is no need to help a scamming company scam yourself. Unless you are ordering directly with a business and they have foolishly decided on having a contract with Door Dash to do their deliveries, DO NOT USE. It's getting so bad with these delivery companies some of the businesses are hiring their own employees to do the deliveries for them. Of course those deliveries have been good because the get paided an hourly rate plus get all their tips. Yes, I got scammed by DoorDash $57 for a meal that was only $35, because we got the expedited service and it was still wrong due to DoorDash not sending over the complete order. Another almost $30 in ride share fees to get to corrected because DoorDash originally denied our request to help fix the order. Thankfully we are good customers with the business and it was fixed, but what about all the times businesses wouldn't fix the issue. My family is done being scammed by DoorDash.

As a driver is getting RIDICULOUS!! Doordash keeps stealing our pay, ESPECIALLY on double dashes!! Literally pays you $1 but if you decline the double dash your points go down. As a platinum driver $1 for 2 deliveries and f-ing pathetic. I HIGHLY recommend you use Uber Eats or GrubHub!!!!

Horrible if you’re a driver and horrible if you’re a customer. I’ve been both. They purposely look to lower your score as a driver and make you late when the order was given to you late. Then if you unassigned it they take points away too. It’s starting to cost me to drive. Between gas prices and low paying orders if I get any at all it’s not worth it. 2 is the base pay. It’s terrible. Then if you are a customer and your order isn’t right they look for ways to not refund you. If I’m missing a 10 dollar sub I don’t want 3 in credits. Either go bankrupt or step it up!

I’m a Dasher and increased my deliveries to become a top dasher. Being accurate and making my customers happy with their order is my top priority. Becoming a top dasher is supposed to give you dasher perks in getting first pick dashes and higher dashes. With the new app changes I can’t even get to Dash because it always says to many dashers are in the area. And the scheduling in the new app never lets you set the time you need to dash and never has open spots. I need a company that really does give incentives to work hard to keep customers coming back. The new app changes definitely are not a improvement.

The customer services sucks. They don't give you credit. They closed chat customer services without finish the conversation. I add and item the same minute I place the order, from the same place and they charges double delivery, double tip. It is different than uber eat. They always try to help. Very dissapointed.

Complete rubbish

Complete rubbish. Ordered food, waited over 1 hr and watched the delivery time keep shifting. Eventually called the restaurant who advised it’s been ready to be picked-up for delivery for the past hour. I tried to contact DoorDash support about it and their only suggestion was to continue to wait and “they’re confident they’ll find a dasher to delivery within the next 40mins” or to cancel the order and only get the delivery fee back. I ended up waiting for another 1 hour 30mins for the restaurant to close, and then contacted DoorDash again to get a refund. They still offered to find a dasher for the order (despite the restaurant not being open until 4:30pm the next day 🤦🏻‍♂️). I eventually got a full refund… and no food.

This company has lost there mind, I can’t say what I wanna say, They messed up my food I order. We through the food away. This back and forward between DoorDash and spring creek bbq. Neither one wants to take the freaking blame! Best believe God don’t sleep at all!

I was charged month after month for a DashPass that I didn't subscribe to. On 6/9, I was charged $27.03 for an order I didn't place. When I called DoorDash customer service, they told me my money couldn't be refunded.

Absolute worst first experience. My ordered was delivered else where and then they wouldn’t refund my money. Spoke to a manager and he was beyond rude. I will never door-dash again. I never had a problem with Ubereats. Only reason I used DoorDash was because I was given a gift card.
